    Nitris Upgrade

Is anyone running 1.8.3 successfully?  I'm currently on 1.7.7 on an xw4800 with 4G ram and was looking to upgrade primarily to fix some edit accurracy problems with the Panasonic 3700B D5 deck which we use pretty frequently. Should I just go to 1.8 or jump up to 1.8.3?  Also, does anyone know if I should be using Windows Media 10 or 11 on 1.8x?  I believe the readme says 10, but the download page says 11.

    Thanks in advance.

    Re: Nitris Upgrade

I have not heard of any instability issues with SN 1.8.x

Not sure about the WMP version though.  errr

Thanks for your 2 cents.  I've upgraded to 1.8.3 and everything seems fine thusfar.  I haven't had an opportunity to use a D5 post upgrade yet, but I'm hoping the system is a little happier (frame accurate batching and no grey frame on layback).  FYI I ended up upgrading to WMP 11 and QT 7.3 before I upped SN.
