    Interlacing?

I am editing on a media composer adrenaline and working with footage shot in 24p in a 30i project. Every codec i use to export a QT to use in after effects has what looks like interlacing(?), lines going throughout the entire video. how do i fix this? codec?

    Re: Interlacing?

In AE, select the QT and choose "File > Interpret footage > Main".

There is an option for field dominance and pulldown. Choose or let AE "guess" for you.

    Re: Interlacing?

In a 30i project,  I have found it is best to use Lower Field first when rendering in AE, and importing into MCA.
