I have had this issue in the past and have chose not to use it but i have to use it now. I am trying to do an effect that has my video at 400% for a couple of seconds the in 30 frames ramps to 100% for the remainder of the clip. The footage i am using comes from an offline on the MC adrenaline. The clip is part of a larger digitized footage clip. I think it was around 15mins. just the section i need is the only video in the 15min clip and it is only 8 sec. I thought i could just add a Timewarp, Timeffect and use Speed at 400% then add keyframes to ramp it down later in the clip. When i go to the first frame in the Timewarp effect and start moving the speed up it start to move my first frame of video. I cannot move it past 111% before it moves past the point of the clip that is digitized. Is this a timewarp problem or am i just doing it wrong. I have also tried to anchor the first frame, it still moves.
The only way i have been able to make this happen is to edit the clip to the timeline and process a "timeline to clip" of just the footage i need. and the add the timewarp. Is this way i have to do any ramping effeects?

Richard, you may want to try "Input Speed" mode rather than "Speed". With "Input Speed" you choose to show "Input frames". Set a keyframe value at the beginning frame of 400%, move to the last frame of the 400% frames and set another keyframe. Then go to the frame where it should be 100% and set that keyframe. Now, uncheck "Show input frames" and render.
