first of all: Sorry for my bad english ;-)

Hope you understand me anyway...

I'm using Avid Xpress DV for Mac (version 4.8). My client Monitor worked fine for a couple of days, showing my composer window - suddenly it didn't work anymore. I already checked all of my settings, comparing them to the settings in an older project (where it still works). I found out, that the first checkbox in video settings is missing. It's not gray or something, it's simply gone.  

You cannot click on "send video to DV device" anymore.

Does anybody know what happend? Can Anybody help me? It's pretty urgent ;-)

First of all welcome to our little party. It's nice to have you on the forums.

Second, we need to know a little about your setup. Can you detail your Hardware setup for us? Including what video card and what Ram you have.

This sounds as if your video card may have gone bad on you but it's hard to tell.

What OS are you using?

thanks a lot for your answer, it works again! No idea what happened. I'd like to find out what happend, when I have more time. Gotta be through it in three days.
