I’m planning of buying the Supermicro X7DA3+ Motherboard to be able to run the up coming MC 3.0 and MojoDX...
This board comes with 2 pcie slots one for video card x16 and the other is x4 pcie (using x16 slot.
Any Idea on the on this particular motherboard would be greatly appreciated.
Fred
It is of course to early to say. Without the software, we DIYers would need to wait.
That being said, it looks good on paper :)

Any idea now about SUPERMICRO X7DA3?
Hello, I'm looking to upgrade my current MB (X6DAE-G2) TO the new one X7DA3+. I'm using this workstation to work with Avid Media composer 3.13 and analog Mojo. Any Idea if it is a good decision to go with dual processor workstation instead of single processor workstation like Asus motherboard model P6T Deluxe. Thanks for any advice I can get. Fred
Anyone using this board?
Thanks.
Well, I'd likely want more than 2 PCIe slots. If you ever decide you needed an additional graphics card or wanted a RAID controller for and external RAID enclosure, you'd be stuck.
Have you checked out the latest Videoguys DIY project? Looks like an absolute screamer. While I7 is not currently supported by Avid, they state on that page:
"For testing we’ve got DIY7 running our favorite NLE software suites including:
using the p6t WS mobo. works really well. don't have mojo connected but should work.
Thanks for the feedbacks. I may have to go with the P6T MB. even I already purchased the X7DA3+ since It was a great deal I couldn,t pass. I just have to put it on eBay.
