    complex segment selcting

hello all, i want to select segments that are from the same source master clip.

today i just go and manualy CTRL select each segment with the source clip name on it. but recently i have a project that needs fx on  multi segments from diferent source clip that and they are randomly orginized on the time line.

is there a quick automatic way that avid can do that with a press of a botton?

    thank you

Would make a nice feature request, for example when using 4x3 media in a 16x9 project or vice versa.

What I've done in the past is cut all those clips needing a specific effect into their own video layer, then select all and apply the effect. Or you could color code the source clip, and easily see where the clips are located in the timeline.
