    Raid 0

I'd like to use G-Tech SATA drives in a Raid 0 configuration. For optimum performance what files should I put on them? Should my captured media go to raid? Does anyone know of unexpected problems using a Raid 0?

    Many thanks,

    Leo

    Re: Raid 0

I have a raid0 work drive that I use almost every day. So far I haven't had any problems with it. It just feels like a faster drive that works the same way. I capture strieght to it without any problems (though usually I'm capturing smaller datarate formats).

I keep both media as well as projects on it, but I back up the project data every time I work on it as well as the previous day's version of it just in case.
