Thank for any advice here.
I'll be cutting many :30 sec segments in a 23.98 project.
The master will be HDcam 59.94 with mixes layed back to that eventually.
Audio engineer will be mixing to Quicktimes.
I'm thinking I should export a 29.97i Quicktime from the 23.98 project for picture ref.
Do I need to do anything special for the OMF export for him? This is new territory for me, so please excuse this if it's kind of straight forward.
But a :30 sec .aif file is a :30 sec. aif file no matter how you slice it....right? (or wrong).
Thanks very much
Just out of curiosity, What made you choose to cut @ 23.98 when your output is (Apparently) going to be 30i NTSC?

This was the original thread. I think I've got my concerns
mostly covered, but please, if you see something amiss,
I'm all ears.
Thanks a lot.
You really should have posted this back in that thread. Even though you are talking about audio, it would be helpful to other posters to follow your entire workflow in that one thread.
I'd still skip SD if I were you.
Yep. Can a mod help a fellow out and delete this?
Audio actually is covered now in the original thread.
Thanks
