hi - i am having a sony Z1 camera hdv capture error - which i seem to get too often with avid.

I got the error after upgrading to the latest version of avid express pro (5.8 i think it is? upgraded 2 months ago). 

I am running my system on a cmpaq nw 8240 certified notebook computer.

I registered the dvbuffers - so that is not a solution.

I try to capture from my sony z1 and get this error: 

Exception: DioProducer – digital I/O device malfunction, DIO err: PMDIO ParserHelper: Parse – error occurred in parser AudioElemntaryStreamParserREp:FinishAudioPESBuffer – nothing in the free queue devices\digitalio/Pyromaniac\PMDIOTester\MPEGParser\Audi

 hello again - a day later, i keep having the same problem: i can only capture a few seconds before I get the same error message, and on occasions different ones like: DVAUDIO_MANAGER_LAVA_EXECUTE_ERROR for example.

has anyone had capture issues after upgrading to 5.8?

 hi there - still no answers from the forum - I have tried to uninstall 5.8 and instal the previous version of avid xpress: 5.7.7 - I did that, but I still get the same capture error:
