Hi,
It would help us to know what version of composer, what version of the OS and what version of QT you have installed.

Ok...I'm going to move this over to the meridian forum but, in the mean time, try running the QT installer again. Install right over the top of the QT on your system. Sometimes that would shake things loose on the older systems.
Just download the 6.1 Installer and run it.
I have not been able to find an installer for 6.1.x but you may be able to find it with your Jaguar install discs.
Here are some links to other installers though 6.5.1 was the earliest we found.

Never mind. Found 6.1.1:

Nope, looks like Apple removed the link. Oh well, back to the hunt.
FWIW Protools did this to me and it required going to the Apple site and downloading a PreBindings script file (from memory) and running it.
It was a solution to a specific Protools problem here rather than a suggestion to try it. I hoped my comment may trigger an idea from one of the real Mac experts here.
To start with, just try uninstalling and reinstalling the Avid. All kinds of installation combinations caused this back then. Reinstalling sometimes brought it back.
Yeah, uninstalling actually worked. Everything's fine now...that was weird. Well, thanks for your help, everyone! I appreciate it, and good luck with everything!
