    QT issue.

I just up graded to 5.8, and I am trying to output a QT with an HDV compression.  However, when I got to the formates that option is not there.   The option was there in 5.7.5.

    Any help would be great.

Check your version of QT against this matix to be sure you have the right one.

I am trying to install QT 7.3 but it is telling me that I have a newer version of QT,  What is the proper way of trashing 7.4 so I will be able to install 7.3?

I've been away from Mac for quite a while (G4 - O/S9), but since no one else has responded I remember using Sherlock to search for all files named in this case, QT 7.4 and delete them. Does OSX not have something resembling the "add/remove programs" function common on PCs?

Not for QuickTime. Unfortunately the only way to "downgrade" QuickTime is to re-install the OS.
