This is killing me. I keep authoring a movie in Blu-ray and just when I am almost done...GOTCHA!
Avid DVD crashes. I save after every key stroke. The project file is there, named correctly is about 325kb, but when I try to open it - NOTHING. I've spent about 30 hours authoring the same movie over, and over again, I almost get to the end but it crashes everytime! (I am going insane) I just unistalled/reinstalled Avid DVD and DIO runtime, but no matter what, it just opens the projects as Untitled2 (Great software Avid) and nothing is there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is there a fix for this>??? Please !

To clarify: do you mean you use file / open to open the previously labeled project? or do you import the previously named project? In explorer is there a project with the name you chose?
Or do you mean the software when it opens opens with "untitled2"?

Yes I have tried both, file>open, as well as double clicking the file on my computer.
Yes the project name/file is there and is named correctly, however when I open it, it is called Untitled2. If I try to open it again while the software is still opened, it then calls it Untitled3, etc, etc....
I figured out a workflow, I save, close the project, restart the computer, then re-open the project. It seems like if I don't quit the software part way through authoring the project, then it can never find it later on. Kind of lame software, the free NERO is more reliable...
I believer you must use file/import, not double click on file. Might try it....
