    MC P2 importing like XpressPro?

     Anyone care to enlighten me if Media Composer import/ingests P2 .mxf media files like XpressPro?  That is, that same cumbersome way?

    Wow, I looked through all the posts at that site rather quickly but did not find one aobut P2 specifically as it relates to this question.  I'm trying to find out if Media Composer ingests video the same cumbersome way that XpressPro does?

    If you read those Tutorials, then that's how Media Composer handles P2. If that seems cumbersome to you, then use something else.
