The jig is up.
The Mojo is an outdated, half baked, joke.
Please stop trying to force a $12K Adrenaline (another $25K) based DNXcel card on everyone in order to digitize HD media. Essentially you are telling users that they must spend $37K in order to digitize HD media in an Avid world. Come on, get serious!
Enable Media Composer Soft to be compatible with Black Magic and Kona Cards on both Mac and PC, and work with those two companies to incorporate your DNxHD codecs as optional compression codecs from those cards.
Anyone else feel the same way?
Actually you're kinda late to the party. That request has been discussed here for years.

Late or not, Avid needs to see this request over and over again, now more than ever.
So, no big deal to repost, perhaps I should do it every month until Avid does it.
What they've done with MC soft is a move in the right direction!
I completely agree.
Our house has 1 MC with Adrenaline (no DNXCEL card), and 2 Xpress Pro's w/Mojo. We are at a critical juncture when it comes to HD and are seriously considering going all FCP for that EXACT reason. We don't want to -- but we see no alternative. I've spoken with others and we're certainly not alone. I've been an AVID guy for 15 years, but reality is reality in a small business.
Again -- I understand this has been discussed before, but the clock is ticking (Feb 2009) and unless we hear something along those lines from AVID around NAB time next month -- we'll be in Apple land by year's end.
Yes the MC Soft is a move in the right direction. But not enough.
Throw us a bone AVID.
Regards,
Bill
I wouldn't make any major decision until after NAB.
