Hello! Audio Underrun

I get Audio underrun when I play projects in the Timeline. It is only projects stored or partially stored on my external drive, Iomega 250 GB. The problems appeared after I did two things: I had to change netcable to a non Iomega (E: drive) cable, and I made a lot of safety copying from this drive to my internal drives, C and D. I deleted these copies but the problem is still there.

In device manager, under atapi controllers, I have Intel 82801 Ultra ATA Storage controller 244B, as well as Primary and Secondary IDE. Shall I disable the Storage Controller?

Primary IDE Settings are device 0: Auto detection, dma if available, not applicable

Device 1: auto detection, dma if available, Ultra dma mode.

Secondary IDE: device 0: auto detection, dma if available, ultra dma mode

Device 1: Auto Detection, DMA if available, Not applicable. 

I tried to defragment the Iomega drive for several hours but it got stuck and was still busy after I stopped the defragmentation.

My audio files have the same sample rate.

I still have space left on my drives: C: 8 GB, D: 9 GB, E: 48 GB (Iomega).

I hope somebody can help..

 I solved the problem. I had put the usb cable into an old socket and not the usb 2.0!
