If you have a mouse with a scroll wheel, you can adjust your current view without moving your cursor away from where you are working. Here are the ways that the scroll wheel could be used:

• Without any modifier keys, scrolls the Edit and Mix windows vertically
• By pressing Shift, it will scroll the Edit window horizontally
• By pressing Option (Mac) or Alt (Windows), it will zoom tracks in the Edit window in and out horizontally
• By pressing Shift-Option (Mac) or Shift-Alt (Windows), it will zoom tracks in the Edit window in and out vertically
