    Closed Captioning in V. 2.8

    I just digitized a tape from DigiBeta and the captioning is off line 21 a bit. It sometimes picks it up, but makes lots of errors. On a scope line 21 isn't solid like it should be. This is a tape that I had previously digitized last September and it worked fine in either 2.7.3 or 2.7.5, I don't remember which. Is there something different to get the captioning solid on line 21? While I'm digitizing it looks fine through the avid, it's only after I load it into the preview monitor or a sequence that it messes up.

    I back revved to 2.7.7, still have same problem. But I found a tape that I made with closed captioning in 2.8 and the tape is fine, so something else has happened????

    Okay, I'm embarrased, it was the stupid video quality menu button not set correctly. Damn, can I disable that function?
