Hey Randall:

Yes, I assume “MC” means Media Composer. So, the answer is any platform that supports the AVX plugin standard, which would include Media Composer and Xpress.

Regarding other companies' plugins, they are a lot more expensive than us. Hopefully our bundles deliver a lot of value given the low pricing.

I don't know how you practiced this beta test guy's, anyway those who suscribed, but I consider this as a very interesting experience. I have got successively ( from mid February to end of march) 6 or more generations of 7 sets of the NewBlue plug ins, which are divided in transitions and filters. I myself, had some minor comments, which all have been taken in account.The only feature which seems to lack is the background transparency on transitions, which are,(again) owed to the very particular Avid alpha behavior.How many posts have been written about this ? (Transparency is however OK for the filters) Anyway, these plug ins seem to be ready now, and I am proud I could participate to the "perfection" of them. For those who like plug-ins and transitions, some of them are intersting, really.
