Hi Everybody,

I'm a student studying at the Metropolitan Film School in Ealing, London (on the site of Ealing Studios). My school has gone the way of the mac and FCP but I'm a PC guy and got into the wonderful world of AVID just before I went there so I'm sticking to my guns (numerous crashes in FCP haven't exactly helped spur my interest and they are using iMacs to edit HDV footage).

This is my screen from Xpress Pro 5.7.7, running on a recently-purchased HP NW9440, running a C2D 2.16, 2GB RAM connected up to a 750GB USB drive (never been a problem so far - thanks to native M2T editing!). This setup allows me to do the bulk of my editing and I have an audio-focused setup and one for colour correcting once the edit is locked down.
