Drop Frames with Multicam Sysnc

We are doing an 8 cam HDV multicam sync we are having problems with drop frames from the tape capture! Is the any way to fix the drop frames with out recaputeing and resysncing all the cams ! This is a 10-14 hour process and it is killing us! Is the a way to fix a drop out on a tape?
