What does this error mean? How do I fix it?
I get the error when I'm burning a volume. After all the transcoding is done and it gets ready to write the files I get the "end of file" error.
Working on a Dell Precision M90 laptop MC 2.7 Toolkit 5.7.
Hi
I have seen this message a few times, and nine out of ten times, it turns out to be a piece of corrupt media. Try subclipping your seq into smaller sections, try audio or video only, etc, the nornal process of elimination.
Hope this help a little
Tim
I'm beginning to think Avid DVD sucks. I'm getting this same error again on a different project. I have 4 video clips. Suspecting that one could be corrupt I inserted one at a time and burned the volume with only one vido clip. I was able to successfully burn volumes for all the clips. However, when I put more than one clip in the project and try to burn the volume I get the error. I mixed and matched all my clips to check if there was a combination. It wasn't.
So I'm challenging all you Avid techs to figure this out.
I could really use some help.
This is the second project that I've been unable to author with Avid DVD. And the thing is I like the ease of use and the workflow so I really want this to work.

Note: I took the same video QT files and put them in Encore and they authored without a problem. The files are not corrupt. I started a new DVD on another computer and added the files to Avid DVD and i got this end of fill error when I had more than one clip in the project.
Help.

new project different clips same error. This is frustrating. Can anyone help. I can use Encore but then I lose the integration between Avid.

I'm using QT files. I haven't tried QT Ref because they are different videos from different projects. What I don't get is if I just put one video on the DVD and author it works. I put them together and I get an error. This does not make sense.
I tried the Sonic DVDIT forum as well. No solution yet.
I appreciate the responses, I know I need all the help I can get right now. I would love to get some advice from any Avid techs monitoring these forums.

Have everything build and now i can't burn...:)
