Calling all Avid customers……….

This Avid Customer Setups forum has been created for a specific purpose. Avid Engineering is very interested in how YOU use the Avid editing software. We want examples of screengrabs from your timeline showing typical examples of the types of sequences you create.  We are also interested in any custom layouts you have done of your screens, button mappings, etc. This information will be used to help inform future user interface designs. Please attach screenshots in JPG format only to your posts in this forum.

Important Notes:

- A full 2 screen User Interface (UI) shot should be under 300k.

- Feel free to “black out” the source/record monitors if footage rights are of concern. Avid does not need to see any pictures.

- Please feel free to post any comments along with the JPG file that you feel that will help Avid engineering better understand what they are seeing. 

This is a one way forum and the moderators will be primarily concerned with getting your screenshots into the engineering team.  As such, we will not be responded to posts and engaging in discussions about the screenshots although you are of course free to chat with each other regarding the posts.  Likewise, this is not a “feature request” forum. There is a forum for that already. 

We mention this only to set expectations accordingly. We will be extremely grateful to everyone that takes the time to post their screen grabs, and it will make a difference in future Avid products.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to help drive the direction of the company by your own example.

Avid Engineering
