    Project settings for tv movie

    Hello everyone,

First time on a TV movie (used to work on features), in France, for french TV. I'm wondering if these programs are still broadcasted in interlaced fields nowadays.

I think it will be shot in 25p, but I wonder if I should set my project in 25i. It's confusing me.

    Thanks for your advice.

Well as always it will depend on what your delivery spec says. You really need that to know whats needed.

Typically most broadcasters still use interlaced which we in HD we term 50i (for interlaced 25fps content)

However in MC you can change between i and P within a Project so its easy to change it later and re-render any affected effects or transitions as these will be affected.
