    2019.7 - background rendering error PPM_INSUFFICIENT_MEDIA

On some clips after transcoding via background rendering I got a "Audio: PPM_INSUFFICIENT_MEDIA" error when loading the transcoded media into source viewer. No matter of what settings I choose. No framerate conversion is involved.
The background rendering finished without problems.
It occurs not on all clips. But always on the same clips - so I can reproduce the error.

When I choose to render within the application no problem occurs with the transcoded clip.

    Any suggestions?

This may also occur on half the clip, during audio playback, but not the other half.

In this scenario, its possible this clip was once a "spanned" P2 clip, and that media databases lost track of the spanned clip's MXF (audio only).

Try to isolate the MXF files, to confirm they actually exist, then close Avid > delete the msmFMID and msmMMOB files where these suspect MXF files live > and relaunch Avid
