Favorite option for subtle speed up

Hi, what is your favorite / best looking way to speed up a performance by just a bit?

I'm on a 23.976 progressive project and trying to speed up a performance by only 5%. But from both field type to Blended VTR type, I get a choppy results, like skipping frame. I tried from 2 to 10% and it looks choppy too, only the skipped frame where somewhere else in the clip. Through the Motion Effect panel, I also tired entering a round playback rate of 26fps, which gave me a 108.33% speed effect but still looks choppy. With FluidMotion, since it creates new frames, artifacts are introduced.

So none of these options are up to my satisfaction, what are you guys using to speed up performance by just a bit?

You have describe exactly what is happening - a speed up works by (at it's most brute level) tossing away frames in some mathmatically correct sequence.

Have you tried using FluidMotion?  This is VERY render intensive and can have some weird artifacts depending on what is happening motion wise in the shot.  But it can be magic when it works.

Yes I tried and as you said, with this specific shot FluidMotion get me some weird artifacts around the legs.
