File based to sample based conversion with AMT3 and MXF 1:1 formats

    Hi all,

We are currently in the process of migrating from AMT2 to AMT3

Our current workflow is to use the AMT to read AAF / OPAtom files and unwrap these without decoding/transcode. We have some Avid MXF 1:1 files from a customer that we want to treat in the same way whilst using AMT3.

    My questions are:

    • Is it possible to use AMT3 to do a file-based to sample-based conversion with a MXF 1:1 source?
    • Are all MXF 1:1 files either 8-bit or 10-bit uncompressed?

    Thanks for any help

    Hello,

Apologies for the delay. 1:1MXF is not a supported format in AMT 3.0.  You will need to use AMT 2.x for workflows that require this.

    Hope this helps.

    Best Regards,

    Dennis
