PC/Win 10Pro:
What is the best driver for MC 2018.9 and a Nvidia k5200 GPU? v340_84?
I seem to be having an issue with Adobe wanting a different one also.Yep the new adobe wants the latest driver or you get an error message.. v411.63
With Adobe's new update if you go to a lower driver you loose GPU access for renders and previews.
UPDATE and Possible Issue:
Okay, It seems with Adobe, Resolve, and some others needing you to go to The newer Win10pro for their latest versions. You also need the latest Nvidia driver (411.63) at least for Adobe to use some of the new features and get GPU acceleration. And with Avid it is driver (390.77). Now when you try 411.63 Avid acts up. And when you use the avid one Adobe acts up with Premiere/AfterEffects at times. I think it depends on what you are doing. So for those of us like me that are Colorist/Finishing Editors and need to use Avid Symphony, Adobe, Resolve, Scratch all the time this will jam us (me) up a good amount.

Welcome to my world for the past 2 years.
A lot more clients are requesting 2 or 3 of these apps in the same machine using the same break-out-box.
You end up with 3 semi stable applications at best.
Count your blessings. Often you have to play musical chair with the BM drivers also.

This is the 1st time I've seen it become an issue for me. I must have been lucky. But it seems this last Win10 update has some changes that the GPU strong Apps want to take advantage of.
I hope Avid can help.
