If I try to start Avid Media Composer pretty much nothing happends at all apart from the App crashing after about 3 seconds. No windows open or anything. I also keep getting "The Activation Server Could not be Reached" notifications. It is weird because sometimes it does not work for hours and then it suddenly starts to work again and then it stops to work for hours again and so on.
I got the student subscription and version 2018.9 installed. In the Avid Application Manager under Media Composer it says "Activated".
My Mac is running on system version: macOS High Sierra 10.13.6
Any ideas?
