Hi,
A friend of mine (graphic designer) recently produced some generic titles for a company I am launching, and I wish to bring these into Avid (import, not AMA-link). However, the options are different to what I am used to - see attached below. Also below is the media info of the MOV file my friend supplied. As said, I want to bring this into Avid, add a sound effect, and keep to then later place at the beginning of future projects, therefore something that is framerate-friendly would be welcome.
Can anyone recommend an appropriate import setting?
Thank you,
DC

Hi, can anyone please suggest a good setting? Genrally, what do the options displayed offer?
Just link.

I could, but would rather bring it in properly. Any suggestions on preferred import settings?
These days, 'properly' usually means link, then transcode.
Like everyone else says, link then transcode. When you import, it transcodes to DNxHD anyways.
