multi select non contiguous clips on timeline

Just as topic asked, I want to know, how to slect multi clips, such as hundred clips on timeline.

But non contiguous, and all of them have somthing in common, maybe include same word in the clip name?

We can do quick search, but I want to select all of them after search like FCP7 does.

What I want is just like this

In meantime, you can sort of do it like this:

Turn ON only 'Show Reference Clips' under Bin Display in your Sequence’s Bin.

Use Custom Sift or Bin's SEARCH to display only the Clips you seek  on timeline.

    Select All results

Apply a unique Source Color to those clips.

In your Timeline, highlight just one such colored clip and then use the “Select” right-click tool from Timeline.

Various choices present, including "Clips With Same Source Color", Reverse, offline Clips and more.

Another  Right-Click Timeline feature is below: "Create Sequence Based on Selection".
