My client want a 4k HDR video that I can post on youtube. Youtube has these requirements for HDR:
https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/7126552?hl=en
It basically says this:
2160p, 59.94, Color primaries - Rec. 2020
Color matrix - Rec. 2020 non-constant luminance
EOTF - PQ or HLG (Rec. 2100)
Video bitrate - H264 66-85 Mbps
Container: MOV H264 10 bit or MP4 DNxHR HQX
------------------------
It mentions using resolve with these settings (but nothing for Avid):
------------------
The footage is Slog 3, UHD, 59.94. Shot with the Sony FS7.
----------------
I found these slog 3 to HDR luts:

Does anyone know the step by step process to pull this off in AVID? I played around with a UHD 59.94 project, but a SERIOUS ERROR occurred when I tried to output a file and the scope was not in NITS, so I don't think I was doing it right. Is there a tutorial anywhere???
I have the latest version of AVID and a consumer LG HDR TV.
Thanks!
Lock off your cut in Avid, then import your original media and AAF into Resolve to colour grade and make HDR adjustments.
