Re: GTX 1070 Ti for new PC build

i also just finished my "machine room" project. 800m of cabling alltogether for 2 suites.

    fiber optic HDMI FTW!

coolest thing about all machines in one place: 40G connections become as cheap as 10G ethernet.

now all i need is a use case for 4GB/s.

i even went so far as to put in cabling for PC on/off switches. on 19" rack panels that i printed on with a mimaki printer that can go straight to metal. oh the insanity. maybe they dropped me one too many times when i was a toddler.

heaps of labeled connections & they all work. power button lights up when machine is on (12V from fan connector for Xtra juice). Headphones for a PC thats 30m away.

underneath: dedicated ingest machine from spare parts. approx 15db.

in b4: you need a GF or a cat. i bloody know.

MC 8.4.4 Cusom bulid Supermicro X9SRL-F, 32 Gig Ram, 3ware 9750 6x6TB Seagate EC Drives, LSI 9207 + LTO-6, Mojo DX, Artist Color, Flanders CM240, GTX 1070... [view my complete system specs]
