Linking/Transcode .mts files into MC 1st

    Hi Folks!

Hoping someone can help regarding specific file format for linking clips in MC1st. We're starting with .mts (1080i/60) but can convert to anything with Adobe Media Encoder. The question is what specific file type works best? The MC1st support video (#2 importing your media) says you can link but doesn't specify "for best results...use this wrapper," etc...

I noticed in the video the clips in the bin were .MOV...?? Very much want to link and not import.

A straight link to the .mts camera files throws up a "AC3 Dolby license error..." (By the way, I get not licensing a freeware program with Dolby!) I've tried H.264 720p & 1080p (29.97) but get an "AMA plugin unable to provide compressed sample" error in source window and on transcode.  Thanks in advance! System(s): HP Z220, Win7, 8g RAM, MC 1st v8.9.2, App Mgr 17.10,   Best, Tim
