Community login page switched to German

For some reason, the login page for the Avid community has switched from English to German. My profile hasn't changed, nor has my region or language settings for Windows. Is anyone else seeing this?

http://community.avid.com/  logged in in English for me just now.  (W7 with Chrome)

PS This last session was  for the first time in weeks I have had speedy connection to the Video forums both opening and loading new pages. So far I have had no pages failing to load with time out errors.  Long may it last!!!

So it looks like someone/something at Avid has decided that I speak German. The site is setting the website language cookie to 'de', and there's no way to change it back. Du meine Güte!

It's English here, can you check your Avid master account language?

    Thanks,

On my profile it's set to English. Nor is any other option possible; the dropdown box only has English.

Re: Community login page switched to German

OK, I figured it out. Somewhere along the way, the avid.com domain cookie LOCALE got changed to 'DE'. From that, the cookie website#lang was being set to 'de'. When, where, and why this happened I don't know. I don't peruse German sites in general. I forced the cookie back to EN and everything is now back in English.
