Unable to load quicktime.mov files to viewer or timeline Solved !!

    Case Solved

Okay this is what I did.  I opened up the clip in Quick time and converted it to an .mp4 v thern imported it into the bin in media composer first , double clicked on the clip  and clip loaded with audio 2 mono tracks.  Original clip created using quicktime has a .mov extension and creates 17 audio tracks by default.  As everyone knows first only supports 8.  Hope this will help someone else out in the future.  Thanks to everyone who has given me advice
