    audio effect

hello for the first time i am dealing with audio effect

i need to equalize, give some presence to voices and quit some background noises

i see that there are no many tools that works at single clips level

for entire track there is more

anyway i am interested now in those things i said.

i am working with the small eq audio eq tool..it does the job though sometimes better would be nicer. is there any?

second..i need to copy the same eq settings in differnt clips along the timeline. how do i do that?

    thanks a lot

    Re: audio effect

The Audio Eq tool You're already using works on single cuts. Not in front of a system right now to double check, but there should be an AudioSuite equalizer too.

If You have to apply the same setting to multiple clips I'd consider cutting all those clips to their own timeline track and apply an RTAS effect, which will give You a more advanced equalizer, or You can drag the Eq icon from the tool to a bin and apply it to any audio cut in the timeline.

can t use rtas for whole track as i need different treatment for different clips

so audiosuite also works at clip level?

He was refering to putting all the clips that need eq on the same track and adding a rtas eq to that track

...If You have to apply the same setting to multiple clips...

RTAS Is track based, if the OP needs to apply many different equalizations to several clips on the same track, it's either the basic Eq tool, or the AudioSuite 3/7 band one, which are cut based. Presets can be saved to a bin to be later applied to clips in the timeline with both tools.

    Re: audio effect

Just like any effect. When you're in audio suite drag the plug-in icon to your Effects bin. (Or bin of choice, but I always create an effects bin)
