    Batch Rename Clips in Bin

    I think its time to have this.  Being able to highlight clips and batch edit them after or before certain characters

    Have posted similar a few times before.  Yes - absolutely.  I have a whole Copy-Paste-Enter-Up-Paste-Enter-Up-Paste-Repeat100xOrMore routine that I do with some formats, especially ones like AVCHD where the filenames are all just 5-digit numbers by default.  Then the frustration if I made a typo in there somewhere...

    +100 for sure!

    I need to remove the .new from 1000 transcoded clips, would be nice to be able to do it in a couple of clicks...

    Duplicate the original filenames to a custom column before transcoding then duplicate it back to the name column to zap the .new.
