    Updated E4 to v.7.1...

    ...now it says that all the disks are initializing?!?

    Is this expected behaviour, or do I come back to an empty filesystem tomorrow?

    This is not normal. What version did you upgrade from? What hardware are you running?

    It's a Nexis E4 with 2x60TB, I upgraded from 6.1.

    Is there a way to get directly to Nexis support, or do I call the local Danish no.?

    The update hasn't fixed the problem I've had all along with an "overflow" of warnings in the system log regarding "uServerd \ net_ratelimit: XX callbacks suppressed".

    And I've got a new problem: After I deleted a workspace the Nexis entered into error state. The workspace is deleted as far as I can tell, but I can't clear the error...

    And there's new messages regarding "Storage Manager X: RecoveryEngine::Begin iteration for: Mirror Failed State?"

    I'll take this up with support in the open case. [03113332]

    Can you check all your clients and make sure none are connecting at anything less than 1GigE (1000BaseT)? We are seeing an issue where clients connect at lower speeds 100mb and it is causing random issues like this.

    All client tests above 100MB/sec in PathDiag.

    (Confirmed yesterday when I upgraded the Nexis Client on all of them.)

    Once again, a reboot cleared the error...

    But come Monday morning, I won't have the opportunity to reboot the server for weeks :-/

    Regarding the NetCallback errors: They also appear when only the backup server (connected with 10G) is the only client connected and working on the Nexis. (PathDiag & Helios LanTest reports 640/1020 MB/sec W/R.)

    Ensure that Jumbo Frames is turned off on the 10GigE NIC. To diagnosis this we'd likely need a Continuous Client log captured while the error is taking place.

    What OS and software is being used for the backup server?

    This happends both with the clients and the server.

    The clients are Win7 SP1, the server is 2012 R2, then there's my Macbook on 10.10.5 and a HP laptop on Win10...

    Can you double check the Mac and ensure it is connecting at 1GigE? I'm out of ideas after this.
