Re: How to Renew your Upgrade & Support plan

    Ugh.
My Account info still lists my System as having support - it ran out months ago.
I purchased and received a new MCSUPP contract - but the site will not allow me to activate it because it thinks I have a contract. Calling support yields no love, as their system rightly says my Sys ID has no support. I refuse to spend money on a one-time code just to get a yearly contract activated.
Because of a combination of the deadline and the need for an upgrade from 8.4 to link to this footage, I'm probably not going to be able to satisfy this contract on an Avid... which will seal the remainder of the series on another product, unless I pull off a miracle here.
I've opened a case (02993699), but since I technically have no support, I'm guessing it will be ignored until tomorrow when I'm dealing with a different client at their location.

Get in touch with Marianna and company - and keep in mind, trial mode is an option, everything works for 30 days.

Activation issues are ALWAYS FREE over phone support.  No code necessary.  I believe activation is option "2" on the support line.

Sadly Marianna is unavailable until next week. I emailed RalphC awhile back and asked him to look at Steve's post.

And only available during business hours - this one fact is  huge failing for users imho.  I understand the need to have Elite coverage for 24 hr support, but showstopper activation issues really should be covered anytime.  Not everyone tries something new or makes a change during East Coast business hours...

Re: How to Renew your Upgrade & Support plan

The team (teams?) has pulled off a herculean effort to get this resolved, and I thank all those involved!

As to the need for a herculean effort in the first place... I'm happy to provide feedback in closed discussion should the team desire it.  ;)

Thanks to all who got this done!
