    I have the same problem with a laptop from the broadcaster I work for. I deleted the license folder and tried to reactivate. Then I get the message:

    Activation Failed. Seat count failed on System ID:xxxxxxxx

    I already emailed Marianna. Is that still the best way? I'm from Holland, but I'm in Brazil right now for the Olympics (and it's night), so calling support is kinda difficult.

    I'm on the trial version right now, but that's not the best solution of course...

    I'm having this problem too. Haven't changed anything. It's Sunday and I need to work please help!

    Disconnected from the internet and Avid works. Once open, enabled my NIC and everything works. Am I going to run into this again?

    I have got the same problem since yesterday. Nothing has been changed at my system but Avid doesn't start anymore, application manager sais "no record of this device was found."

    Can you try to activate your Avid MC again.

    Hej Raff,

    I cannot activate my MC because it's already activated. And it's not possible to deactivate Avid, the app. manager says:  0 Deactivation OK. No record of the device was found.
