Do you have the latest version of Application Manager

What happen if you restart the Mac.  (FWIW this resolved syncing here on a PC)

You should see the update if you a) restart your Mac, or b) quit App Manager and AppManagerHelper (using Activity Monitor) then relaunching App Manager.

But if all else fails, download it from the Download Center.

    Re: Avid Application manager

Thanks Kevin,  this was my next option.  So do I do an uninstall of 8.2 then install 8.3 as per norm?

I read somewhere that this was not required? but I asume this was/is through the App manager

Re starting the system does'nt work and quiting App Manager and AppManagerHelper (using Activity Monitor) then relaunching App Manager didn't work.  The App manager is broken.

There have been numerous problems with App Manager.  I am hopeful that the latest version, which is included in 8.3, resolves these issues.

You don't have to uninstall anymore on Mac...just run the 8.3 installer.

I think some of the problem is those that installed MC 8.2.1.

MC 8.6.1, Windows 10, ASROCK X99M, Intel 5930K, Zotac GTX970, 32GB RAM, Transcend 512GB M.2 SSD & Dell U2713H. MBP 2012 Thunderbolt, OSX 10.10.5, MC... [view my complete system specs]

I did not find a standalone installer for Application Manager on the Avid site so I deactivated MS/Sym 8.3, uninstalled it, and reinstalled.  Application Manager is now working correctly.

One should not have to uninstall/reinstall.  Please Avid fix this in the next 8.3.x update.

    Re: Avid Application manager

On my system i had to uninstall MC and then reinstall MC to get both the App manager and MC to work together.  I have done this on a fresh Hard drive, Op system etc,,,,  doing this has been the best method so far.

Remove/Reinstall is what I said I did.  At one point I believe somebody had posted a link to Application Manager as a standalone install but maybe I dreamed it.
