    Script Sync license

So I'm looking to purchase a ScriptSync license, which it appears to be no longer available to purchase through Avid.  From what I've been reading it will no longer work with MC 8.  If I downgrade to an older version and purchase the license through a third party seller, will the license work?  I want to verify that this is still a viable option, I'm a bit hesitant on spending this much money to find out it won't work.

    Re: Script Sync license

Correct. ScriptSync and PhraseFind work perfectly in releases pre-v8. Not an option in any version of 8.

For customers who need this functionality, it is perfectly fine to stick with a v7.x workflow.

One option is to go through Videoguys. (My personal favorite.) they still have it in stock [here].
