    Unable To Install MC7

    Purchased MC7 Student a few days ago and am unable to complete installation. Am currently running OSX 10.8.4 on a 2013 MBP 13" non-retina with a Core i5/8GB RAM/HD4000/256GB SSD. After agreeing to the licenses/installation location etc., the installer runs for about 5 minutes without ever asking me for any of the activation/verification codes provided to me via email after the purchase and then the installation status bar finishes and prompts "installer encountered an error, please contact avid support" (which led to an answer of downgrade from 10.8.5 to 10.8.4 which didn't help). Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
