    Transfer Manager Unexpected Exception Error

    MC 6.5.3

    Interplay 2.7

    Have a 1hour 10min sequence with no audio. 9 tracks of video/graphics.

    When sending to playback the Transfer Manager pulls all the the appropriate MXF files and then when it tries to wrap them to send it gives the error:

    "Unexpected Exception in AMSP::Sender::SendComposition"

    The only way I was able to actually get this to send was to start breaking the sequence down into subclips.

    The first two subclips were about 25mins each and sent with no problems.

    The third was just under 25mins as well and I got the same error message as before. So I then split that into two parts, 9mins and 13mins, and those both sent fine.

    So the the fact that all parts ended up sending fine on their own, what could be causing them to not be able to send as one complete sequence?

    Prolly something rotten in the sequene.   A single frame of "media offline" will cause a TM send to fail.

    So,  use video and audio mixdowns,  and don't worry about these things.
