Pro Tools 11 - Imported video plays too fast

After importing a Quicktime video and setting the framerate to its appropriate value of 29.97 fps, the video plays back at about 3 times the actual speed. The imported audio plays at its normal rate. I am hoping this is easily resolved, but I can't seem to find any solutions.

Hi, I think you would be better posting in the Avid Pro Audio forums found here
(you have posted in the Avid Pro Video forums)

What is the frame rate of the Quicktime before you import it? I would add that info along with which QT codec your video is to the post in the audio forum.

FWIW your audio is probably correct as Protools reads the audio sample rate rather than the frame rate when importing (to the best of my knowledge.)

    Good Luck

Please make Enter Slip and Enter Slide mode selection available for mapping (to buttons or KB) via the Command Palette.
