Hi, I am pretty new to recording, but was going great guns with my MBox Mini, new MacBook Pro and Pro Tools Express...until the last few weeks when I have the recurring error DAE 743 which keeps popping up when I'm replaying or recording anything even on the 1st track. I've reinstalled Protools Express twice. There is not much on this particular error though I've tried to follow most of the advice I've read. The only thing I haven't done is partition my hard drive as its a brand new MacBook Pro so I wouldn't have thought I should need to...Any ideas please? I'm tearing my hair out....I can't change my hardware configuration because my macbook pro only has 2 usb ports, so I have to use one for Ilok and the other for a USB hub which then connects onto the mbox and separately to an axiom pro 61 midi keyboard...Any advice / thoughts kind people?
Nat
You should probably post this to the Pro Audio forum here:http://duc.avid.com/
I do know that changing the way the MBox is attached to the computer can help. Are you plugged into a powered USB hub and then that is plugged into your computer????
You should plug the MBox directly into your computer and you should stopped getting the error.
