I'm establishing and pinning this thread as a one stop location to report bugs on the Mac version of MC 6.0.1. Please keep your reports as short and concise as possible. Thank you for your cooperation.

"Expand Luma Range" for full screen playback on a computer monitor has not been fixed. The setting toggle makes no difference. On the plus side, horizontal tearing does seem to have been fixed.

Export Fails
With MC6.0 one hr exports would fail using the Matrox h.264 1080i60 codec within 5 min. of completion with a message saying that "fast start" creation was in progress even though I had disabled that option in the export preset. I would need to force quit MC to exit.
With 6.0.1, the 60 min. export fails at the same spot, but now an error message appears.
Exception: std::exception, what:"Segmentation fault" in thread "CQTExportWorkingThreadBody", at address 0x0
So far exports of the exact same material of 30 seconds and 30 minutes complete successfully.
I have found others complaining of the same "fast start" lockup with 6.0 using other codecs.
When using the MX02 mini the audio meters are not in sync with the video.
I'm still seeing horizontal tearing.... not a deal breaker, but annoying.
Trimming - good news - the monitors update correctly when dragging rollers and using JKL. Bad news - the green light monitor indicators do not swap from side to side with the mouse prior to dual-roller trimming. They only activate correctly AFTER starting the trim. This was broken in 6.0 and needs addressing please.

Just installed 6.0.1 after uninstalling 6.0 - My quicktime refs are blank when viewed in qucktime player. They are created using Avid Codecs. Is it possible the codecs are no longer installed? I cant recall if I had to download them separately. I did notice that the 6.0.1 dmg is nearly 50mb smaller than its precdecessor. Any ideas????
looks like im going back to 6.0.0 ....
Full Screen Playback Issues:
- Expand Luminance On Computer Displays option doesn't work
- Horizontal tearing in FSP
- When a Matrox MXO2 mini (and probably any other monitoring solution) is connected, FSP isn't available anymore. This did work in previous versions. This issue has been raised months ago and should really be fixed. I'm certain I'm not the only one that works with FSP on a second HD computer monitor, and a LCD client TV connected to the MXO. With MC 6.0 I can't have an image on the second monitor and the client TV at the same time, unless I use some workaround with component cables.
Trim to the right 1 frame and trim to the right 10 frames keyboard buttons do not work on the keyboard.
If I use the following steps: Tools AudioSuite and I asign a filter (example: Compressor/Limiter Dyn 3) when you hit the preview button nothing happens it only says processing.
Also forgot to mention that playback still not smooth, it stutters. I Do not have this issue with 5.5
During multicam editing system froze and I got the following message: SFPlayConsumer::Excecute TIMEOUT
MXO2 MINI issues
- Playback stutters, skipping a frame once in a while
- Sluggish, less responsive feeling than software-only MC
- Matrox 3.0 drivers
AUDIO MIXER
- it's not possible to snap the panning values using the alt button anymore
- The Audio Mixer window look nice but it's way too big. It takes 2/3 of a 1080p screen when expanded to 16 tracks. At least make it resizable, or provide a less detailed Audio Mixer as an option
FULL SCREEN PLAYBACK (cont.)
- Everytime I trim a frame, the FSP jumps to black for an instant. Quite annoying
This isn't a bug.... it's a coding change. ALT click snaps the pan to the "project setting" now. So if your project is all tracks centered, it will center. But if your project is all tracks L/R... it will snap to L or R. Click on the desired track, hit the 0 key and then hit enter... this is the quickest way to Rome now.
Euchrow: - it's not possible to snap the panning values using the alt button anymore
