Ive been happily cutting a project for a while and for no real reason that i can see, the messgae PMM_MISMATCH_AUDIO_FORMAT appears now when i try and play my sequence.
What does this mean???? How can i fix this problem? Your help is greatly appreciated.
Im cutting on MC 5 on a Mac OS X. I have 4 audio tracks, 2 link to the visual clips and two music. If i delete the tracks that arent the music the sequence plays fine, so im assuming there's a problem with the audio link to the video tracks, but they've been fine up unitl now. Anyone no how to trouble shoot this? Thanks for you help.
When you say linking do you mean AMA via Quicktime? If so try importing the audio using the import command instead. Avid will transcode the audio into its native format,
Can we go back to the way audio nodes used to be selected? Please? ie if you have audio nodes at the same time on selected tracks; then selecting 1 audio node selects them all at that time. Having to shift select nodes or add an in and out is time consuming and counter productive. At least make it an option.
No, sorry I guess linked isnt the right word. I mean 2 audio tracks that relate to the imported media.
is th ecamera audio 48khz and the music 44khz by chance
Director/Writer Big Picture Films
Sound Designer/Sound Editor Hollywood Sounds
They all appear to be at 48khz.
Can you please fill out your system specs with the exact version of MC you are using and version of the OS?
