See this message for what I'm trying to do....

I'll add to this - I'd like the TC burn-in effect to offer a choice of font and size. I really needed this recently on a job to indicate on-screen the duration of a telephone call but the client wanted the font to match the other graphics. Worked in FCP7!

+1 for Custom Column burnin, +1 for Custom Fonts!
If I'm correct, as of 2018.1, it is still not possible to change the font in the Timecode Burn-In effect ? Suggested workarounds ?
The font can be changed, but only for the "Text" item, not the others.
And it has nasty drawback: I could not find a way to match the appearance set for a 'Display X' item and a 'Text' item:
see this example, where the 'Text' items has <default> font, and the same values for size, weight, outline as the 'Display 1' item, but does not look the same on the (enlarged) display in the monitor ! :
Or do I miss something ?
Hi all,
If someone could confirm this is the expected behaviour, or I overlooked something...I could then go ahead and find a workaround.
Thanks !
