DekoCast 4.2.1 and Thunder 7.1.3 software released!

New features in DekoCast® v4.2.1 include a new version of the Transcode application which supports transcoding if an Alpha channel is included in a QuickTime file. DekoCast v4.2.1 also adds support for OpenType and PostScript fonts, giving the customer a wider range of font types and styles to choose from.

Additional new features in DekoCast v4.2.1 are support for generic Video Disk Control Protocol (VDCP), Burst GPI converters, support for the Blastronix 8-port GPI card, and the X-Keys Professional Keypad.

Significant product hardening has been addressed in this release and includes the ability to now automatically specify a key file as well as a resolution to a problem experienced with certain audio devices. In addition Intermittent SD output glitches have been resolved as well as closed caption pass through issues.

Thunder® v7.1.3 is a significant product hardening release intended to address the performance and reliability metrics required by customers. Resolved in this release are issues with clip-to-clip transitions, the Thunder® HD preview channel, video level issues, and an problem with the Thunder® HD Frame Grab.
